We at North by Northwestern encourage civil discussion about our articles. However, we reserve the right to remove comments from the site at our discretion.

Grounds for removal include, but are not limited to:

  1. Posts that specifically reference the author, but not the content, of a story
  2. A personal attack on the writer or another North by Northwestern staff member
  3. Falsely assuming the identity of a Northwestern student, faculty member or others related to a story’s content
  4. Defamation, libel, slurs and any other material deemed offensive
  5. Posts we deem to be spam or other unauthorized advertising
