North by Northwestern is one of Northwestern University’s best online publications, updated around the clock with stories about campus and culture. Both online and off, we report the truth, tell stories and have fun.
We started over the summer of 2006 because we wanted to do online journalism and there was no place for it at Northwestern. In Spring 2008, we launched a print magazine. Although the campus media landscape has changed since then, this is still a site where we can talk about what’s actually on our minds, share our passions and explore new forms of magazine journalism.
We’re always looking for new writers, editors, photographers, videographers, multimedia producers, designers, social media managers, marketers and businesspeople. Or if you’re interested in advertising online or in print, subscribing to the magazine or donating, we look forward to working with you!
