A&O Productions, in collaboration with Rainbow Alliance, UNITY and Stitch, will bring Jonathan Van Ness in for a speaker event over Zoom on May 7. The television star and grooming guru is set to kick off A&O's virtual Spring Speaker Series with a virtual Q&A.

Van Ness is best known for starring as the grooming expert on Netflix's Emmy-winning Queer Eye reboot. In addition, he stars on Funny or Die's  Game of Thrones parody webseries "Gay of Thrones" and hosts the podcast "Getting Curious," which won iHeartRadio's award for "Best LGBTQ Podcast" in 2019.

This event will be the first of multiple virtual speaker events held by A&O this quarter. The student group, which regularly brings celebrities, including Eric Andre and Jaden Smith, to campus, announced it would be moving its Spring Speaker Series online on April 27.

Van Ness' event will take place over Zoom on May 7 at 8 p.m. CST. Signups for the Zoom meeting can be found on A&O's Facebook page.
