A&O Productions has announced that Aminé will headline this year’s Fall Blowout concert at the Welsh-Ryan Arena this Saturday.

Aminé’s discography includes hits like “Spice Girl” and “Caroline,” which peaked at 11 on the Hot 100. Aminé’s inventive and unique sound got him a nomination for Best New Hip Hop Artist at the 2017 BET Hip Hop Awards. TwoPointFive, his most recent release, came out on November 5, 2021.

A&O teased that Aminé would be the headliner through a math equation on their Instagram. The equation’s correct answer? Two point five.

Opening for Aminé is MICHELLE. The indie-pop collective released their debut album HEATWAVE in 2018, following it up with 2022’s AFTER DINNER WE TALK DREAMS. The band has collaborated with many well known artists, like indie pop singer Arlo Parks and J-pop band CHAI. In 2020, they were featured on NME’s Top 100 Emerging Artists list.

Student DJ Vitamin K will be pre-gaming the concert starting at 7 pm, with the concert itself set to begin at 8 pm.

The event will take place at Welsh-Ryan Arena on Saturday, October 22nd. Tickets are available through Norris Box Office starting 3 p.m. tomorrow and are free for all Northwestern students. Transportation to the stadium will be provided.
