Actress Erin Krakow took to the DM screen to encourage dancers during Block 6. Best known for her role as Elizabeth Thatcher in When Calls the Heart, here are five fast facts about the breakout star.

  1. Sibling rivalry originally inspired her to go into acting. When Krakow was five, her new baby brother took up so much of her parents' attention that she began putting on performances and mini shows at home to win back her parents' favor.
  2. She is a Hallmark record-setter. Krakow starred in Engaging Father Christmas in 2016, which became the most watched premiere in the history of the network.
  3. Krakow is known for engaging with fans frequently. (We stan an accessible celebrity).
  4. She attended Julliard, where she starred in a number of the school's productions. Krakow played Viola/Sebastian in "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and Helena in "Twelfth Night."
  5. Krakow was born in Philadelphia. Hey, this might not be the most fun fact, but let's give the Keystone State some love. (Yikes!)
