Put your headphones on, NBN readers—the 2026 Grammys have passed!
While the Grammys might be one of the loudest nights of the year, let us not forget it’s one of the most fashionable as well. Most of the time.
The Grammys launched the 2026 award season with a flourish, giving a sample of the carpets we’ve yet to see. Honors began with the Film Independent Spirit Awards on Feb. 15, the Actor Awards on March 5, the Writers Guild Awards on March 8 and hitting a crescendo with the 98th Academy Awards on March 15.
Here are some reflections on the night’s biggest outfit hits, as well as some that didn’t quite hit the right note. While some patrons stood out like a wildflower, other outfits were too messy for my taste.
Let’s jump into the fanfare and hear it for the performers.
Teyanna Taylor

Fierce. Wow. And that is Oscar nominee Teyana Taylor for you. Even beyond the striking form of the dress which compliments Taylor so well, the crystal detailing and the gold lariat necklace make her shine. Please drop the gym routine!
Sabrina Carpenter

I love this. Queen has evolved so far from her kitschy “Girl Meets World” days and this is encapsulating delicate, Hollywood glamour. I wish I had this dress for my prom.
Addison Rae

I really like Addison Rae’s outfit as well. In a way this reminds me of Bjork’s swan dress she wore to the 73rd Oscars. The shaping is really unique, and I love when artists experiment with visuals like this!
Shaboozey and Jamie Foxx

Now let me not forget my big hat…
Noah Kahan, Benson Boone and Alex Warren

Ok, boring. Come on, guys! I know we can bring more to the table!
Leon Bridges

I LOVE this. Shows that men’s fashion can be simple yet still unique and polished. I really appreciate the classic seventies-inspired looks that Bridges always delivers.
Kesha

Look, Kesha, you know I love you, but this was a miss for me. Not very flattering nor very interesting. A dress a boy mom would wear to her favorite son’s wedding.
FKA Twigs

A very classic FKA Twigs look. She’s always incorporating crazy cool textiles into her outfits, experimental in not just her music but her fashion too. Kind of matching the carpet with the anthurium flower accent!
Chappell Roan

Can I say look of the night? Daring, risque… amazing! Loving how the hair looks like it’s part of the outfit, and the body art! When an outfit becomes a conversation, that’s how you know it’s good.
Bad Bunny

Ok. A less than satisfying look, but I’m going to give him his flowers because he deserves them. Sauve, as always. We love you, Bad Bunny!
Laufey

I don’t love the fit or the color, and the beading looks off. Personally, I’m not a fan of the low neckline dresses where the mesh overlay shows in the middle. Sorry, Laufey, it’s a miss for me.
Tate McRae

Too basic. The fabric of the gloves doesn’t match the fabric of the dress – it just seems incoherent.
Lady Gaga

Now this is what I like to see. Lady G, you have done it again. Style wise, she flawlessly transitions from every era she’s in. I love the high neckline and the bird of it all.
Jack Antonoff

I don’t know how to feel. It almost looks like he’s on a matcha run?
Kaytranada

While the form is good and the sunglasses are a nice touch, I cannot get behind the crushed velvet!
María Zardoya

So moody and unique! Again, loving all the dramatic high necklines we’re seeing. The glass flower makes her look like a vampire bride.
Sombr

He’s taking risks, which I respect, but they look like they were taken from a Party City…
Lola Young

She’s too messy, and then she’s too clean! I mean, I’m not the biggest fan of this look but it’s definitely unique and the colors flow nicely.
Jeff Goldblum and Emilie Livingston

Oh, I love this lavender dress. That’s all. He looks fine. I guess.
Heidi Klum

Heidi… what?
