During Northwestern’s Spring Break I had the opportunity to travel to Japan through Medill’s JOURneys program, a series of classes that offers students a partially funded trip to either Tokyo, London or Tel Aviv.
My class visited journalism outlets in Tokyo and learned about the history of media in Japan and Asia. We also visited famous sites and cultural venues, such as Shibuya, Harajuku and Kyoto. While abroad, I captured images that encapsulate important moments from the trip and all of the beauty Japan has to offer.
