Mayfest has revealed the third act playing Dillo Day's main stage this year: pop artist Daya.

The 20-year-old Pennsylvania native won Best Dance Recording at the 2017 Grammys for her feature on the Chainsmokers song "Don't Let Me Down." Her 2016 debut album Sit Still, Look Pretty peaked at number 28 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Mayfest teased the announcement with an event at the Rock, giving out free Insomnia Cookies as a reference to Daya's 2019 single "Insomnia." Daya, who came out as bisexual in 2018, said the song is about knowing "what I could have if I were home and if I were waking up next to my girlfriend" in an interview with Paper Magazine.

"The Lakefill has been lacking true representation in the pop genre, and we felt Daya would be the perfect artist to fill this void," Mayfest Concerts Committee Member Jess Viti said in a statement.

With her announcement, Daya also fills the third void on Dillo's main stage artist lineup. And with Dillo Day 2019 fast approaching, we can't wait to see who fills the remaining slots.
